Golf Club Bar Refurbishment in Lamberhurst

The Lamberhurst Golf Club is one of the most popular 12-hole courses in Kent. However, the interior of the clubhouse required some attention to meet the high standards that the rest of the course set. Tasked with carrying out this golf club bar refurbishment, the JJ Group took on the challenge and ensured that every detail was meticulously dealt with. Back Bar Refurbishment

The bar area was in dire need of a facelift. Careful attention was paid to the removal of the existing countertops, minimising any potential damage to the surrounding structures that would remain. With bespoke Sapele bar tops expertly manufactured and installed, the space now exudes an air of sophistication.

Props were installed to support the upper shelving and shutters, guaranteeing safety throughout the renovation process. To complement the elegant aesthetic, the new worktops were finished with a glossy yacht varnish, adding a touch of luxury as well as ensuring they will be hardwearing for many years to come.

We supplied and fitted 8 new mirrors to the 2 centre backs of the bar. These were stuck to the existing backboard and created a sense of depth, making the bar area appear larger.

Bespoke Front Bar Refurbishment

In addition to the bar tops, various alterations were made to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal. A new corner oak shelf was installed to accommodate the CCTV screen, seamlessly blending form and function.

An oak veneered MDF with solid timber edges was utilised to create a door in front of the bin, ensuring a durability and tidy look.

Furthermore, new shelves and uprights were installed underneath the till, providing ample storage space while maintaining the bar’s rustic charm. The existing bar doors were adjusted for improved functionality, with ironmongery installed as needed to enhance their appearance and performance.
