A single storey extension can offer so much more functional space.
Extending and reconfiguring the kitchen to create an open plan kitchen diner can help really bring the family together. It is amazing what that space can do for your family. when you have somewhere to sit and eat together.
Or maybe you want a larger lounge, perhaps with bifold doors leading out onto your patio or deck. This makes for a really stunning refurbishment to your home, especially when you only had a window overlooking the garden beforehand. We have some gorgeous views in this part of the world, so opening the back of your house up can really “bring the outside in”.
It could also include a utility or maybe a boot room, perhaps off the kitchen. No more wet dogs coming into the house after a muddy winter walk!
Or adding a downstairs cloakroom can add an extra loo as well as additional storage space (for the coats you can’t bear to put away, just in case) and make for added convenience.
What do you need?
Two storey extensions often include creating additional bedrooms as well as what is on the ground floor.
This can really start to add value to a property as well as generating more space for the children who yearn for “their own room.”
Alternatively, a second storey extension could lend itself to a master suite with ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe or dressing room.
During complete renovations we can strip floors and ceilings, knock down walls, put walls up, move staircases and create new spaces from scratch.
If the clients remain in the property we will work around them, professionally and respectfully, using dust sheets, etc. We also work on complete renovations where the client moves out and returns to a transformed home.
Building Regulations and Planning
Whether it’s a one or two storey extension, we will work with the architect and/or interior designer to create something amazing to complement your plans and exceed your expectations.
We also work closely with building inspectors, ensuring compliance and the smooth running of the project.
