For this project, the client approached us to design, manufacture and fit a new built-in wardrobe to replace the existing wardrobe that was looking past its best. We have over 25 years of experience in delivering the finest joinery and carpentry work in the South East. We have developed a team who specialises in jobs such as these. Their expertise is often reflected in the final result of all our projects and restorations.
Before
The existing built-in wardrobe was tired and in dire near of a revamp. The wardrobe was, unfortunately, showing its age.
The red and cream paint on the doors didn’t stand the test of time and was in need of some serious attention. The doors to the wardrobe were ill-fitting and were beginning to look worn out.
The piece lacked sufficient storage and accessibility to the top section. For the client, the top section was nearly unusable and was completely wasted.
We worked alongside our customer to figure out their specific needs and requirements for the space. After establishing what they were looking for The JJ Group began developing a solution.
After
The JJ Group designed and manufactured a double wardrobe completely tailored to the client’s requests.
This new wardrobe made better use of the storage facilities as well as the accessibility. By using two full-height cupboard doors with a shelf and hanging rail, things were much more practical.
The interior was manufactured from birch ply with the doors using MDF to create the shaker style.
Using our in-house spray booth the doors were finished in white and fitted with soft close hinges. This offered a much more modern look than what previously existed. For some additional attention to detail and style, the doors were finished with a brass knob handle.
